Maureen F. Fitzgerald, PhD, LLM, LLB, BComm

maureen fitzgerald Maureen Fitzgerald, PhD is a lawyer and the founder and president of CenterPoint. She has over 20 years experience as a lawyer, consultant and facilitator. Maureen has a law degree and a masters degree in law from the London School of Economics, specializing in alternative dispute resolution. She taught law at two universities and has a commerce degree with distinction.

Dale L. Hewat , LLB, BA

Dale HewatDale Hewat is a lawyer, arbitrator and mediator with over 15 years of experience in labour and employment relations.  She is a former Vice Chair of the Ontario Labour Relations Board. 

Dale practiced for many years as a labour and employment lawyer and also as in-house counsel for a public sector institution comprised of over 1500 union and non-union employees.  Her recent roles include acting as adjudicator, private arbitrator and mediator. Her expertise is in the areas of mediation, fact-finding, negotiation and adjudication.

Through her varied clientele, Dale has been exposed to a wide variety of workplace issues including their negative impact and the challenges in achieving effective solutions. She has facilitated group-driven solutions which have long lasting positive impacts on individuals and organizations. As a neutral facilitator, Dale is a particularly skilled listener. She engages individuals in ways that encourage safe open dialogue and independent problem solving.

Jennifer C. Leslie, B.A.

Jennifer Leslie is an entrepreneur and business expert. She is dedicated to helping businesses and helping leaders grow personally and professionally.

Jennifer created a successful health promotion company with two partners. TRI-FIT, a Toronto-based company, dedicated to enhancing overall employee health, retention and decreasing absenteeism. Her clientele included large blue chip and Fortune 500 companies who would purchase health enhancement services. The company employed 45 part and full time staff.

As Health Promotion Director at the largest hospital in a major Canadian city, Jennifer led several organizational development processes and trained others in the Achieve model of leadership development - a program designed to improve communication, teach conflict resolution skills and enhance employee-based decision-making.

Jennifer worked for many years with the Business Development Bank and applied her background in kinesiology and business at the Heart Foundation as a teacher-educator.

She has successfully marketed conference packages on topics including Workplace Diversity and Prevention in Health Care. She has created and coordinated spa retreats and conferences across Canada. She is a regular guest and keynote speaker at conferences and retreats.
